Do I have to book my own flights?
Yes. We ask all guests to book their own flights, giving you the flexibility to travel from the airport that suits you best. As our guests join us from across the UK and Ireland, this is the most convenient option. We're always happy to recommend flights that align with our airport transfers…simply send us your flight details and we'll take care of the rest.
What level of rider are these trips for?
Our escapes are designed for all levels of rider, regardless of ability or ambition. From leisure and e-bike riders to those preparing for sportives, gran fondos, or racing at the highest level, our aim is to give everyone the same pro-level cycling experience. With different routes, distances, elevation and group speeds, plus experienced ride leaders and guides, we'll make sure you're in a group that suits you and can enjoy the week at your level.
Do I need to bring my own bike or can I hire one?
The choice is yours! You're welcome to bring your own bike, or we can help arrange a high-quality rental bike through one of our trusted local partners. Just let us know your requirements and we'll help make the process as simple as possible.
Can I come on my own?
Absolutely! Many of our guests join us on their own. From the moment you arrive, you'll be welcomed into a friendly group of like-minded cyclists. Whether you travel solo or with friends, you'll quickly feel part of the Allez Escapes family.
Do I need travel insurance?
Yes. We strongly recommend all guests have appropriate travel insurance that covers cycling and their personal circumstances. This gives you peace of mind should anything unexpected happen before or during your trip.
How far do we ride each day?
It depends on the trip, route and group, but typically rides range from 60–120km per day. We offer different route options, distances and levels of elevation, allowing you to ride with a group that best suits your ability and ambitions.
